Björn Hanneke studied International Management at ESB Business School Reutlingen (BSc.) and Finance at Lancaster University Management School (MSc.). 

After his studies, Björn Hanneke co-founded a data analytics start-up and joined the strategy consulting company Berg Lund & Company in 2014. As a consultant, he assisted clients from the financial industry with respect to their digital transformation, automation, and digitization of business processes.

Since 2022, Björn Hanneke has been working as a research assistant at Goethe University Frankfurt at the Chair of Information Systems and Information Management of Prof. Dr. Oliver Hinz.
